What are IMF Connects?
Connects are member requested small group discussions on any IT topic. They allow you to leverage the knowledge and experience of your peers.
 IMF Connects offer quality information that is focused to your topic. They are peer to peer discussions eliminating vendor or consultant bias.
Ongoing Re-Connects: There are some topics and issues where IMF members prefer updates on a regular basis. These are Connects set up to meet quarterly or monthly, depending on the group’s preference, for discussion and insight.

Submit an IMF Connect!
What happens once I submit a Connect request?
After you submit a Connect request, IMF will find members who are interested in discussing their insights on your particular issue. The IMF then schedules and facilitates a web conference or meeting. Upon completion of the connect session, IMF will summarize the results in a Connect report for future reference. (*Note: Company names are removed from these reports to maintain privacy.)

An IMF member would like to initiate a Connect on (Commercially available Off-the-Shelf) COTS Grants Management tools. They would like to learn about other companies' experiences with these tools.
Telecom Management

An IMF member has initiated a request focused on Telecom Management. They are looking for experiences and best practices from similar or larger size companies (who are ideally managing telecom in-house) in how to best structure and manage telecom. The following areas are of particular interest: Work Flow Management, Inventory Management, and Invoice Auditing and Processing. They would also like to gain knowledge around TEM software, managed services and synching orders to billing and inventory.

An IMF member would like to benchmark with anyone who centrally manages a large volume of distributed cell phones. This member company currently has over 10,000. They have just centralized and want to ensure they have the proper controls and policies while at the same time being responsive to the field. The member is also willing to share negotiated pricing they have obtained and benchmark what others have negotiated with their vendors.
