Enterprise Architecture

At past IMF meetings, members have discussed the central role of enterprise architecture in addressing a wide range of business challenges, from guiding mammoth mergers to enabling business transformation, from facilitating effective portfolio management to reducing operating costs. While the efficiency and flexibility benefits of effective enterprise architecture are, by now, clear, practical implementation challenges remain.

At this one-day meeting, senior IT executives shared their own successes and frustrations in realizing the benefits from enterprise architecture. Among the topics that were discussed:
