IT - Leading the Enterprise's Return to Innovation
Mon Feb 10, 2003 - Tue Feb 11, 2003

For almost two years, companies have focused attention and resources on maintaining their essential processes and operations, and cost reduction and containment to help earnings. Now, depending on how rapid the economy recovers and then grows, the center of our attention increasingly should be on being opportunistic in pursuing enhanced and new product and service offerings. As both a strategic and enabling partner, IT will have a pivotal role in helping the enterprise move aggressively to take advantage of those new opportunities. ITs value-add will be in large part measured by how effectively and efficiently it supports the enterprises transition to playing an innovative and competitive role in the global marketplace.

At this meeting, participants discussed their accomplishments of 2002 as well as the business, organizational and cultural initiatives for 2003. Among the topics discussed:
  • Returning to Growth and Innovation
  • Governance & Organization In Transition
  • IT Imperatives for 2003
  • Security & Privacy Imperatives
