Transitioning Through Organizational and Cultural Change

Needless to say, most organizations today are either preparing for change or engaged in some type of change process. While there are similarities in how to lead and respond to change, the goals, strategies and tactics of change initiatives depend on the drivers for change, resources and culture of the enterprise. HR practitioners shared their experiences around change initiatives in the IT organizations brought on by new strategic directions, economic uncertainties, industry restructuring and M&A activity.

Aligning HR with the Objectives of IT and the Business
Leading IT through major change initiatives requires that HR be aligned with the objectives of IT and the business. Members described how they are aligning the objectives of HR with those of the company, and how they are demonstrating this alignment by measuring and communicating the value delivered to the organization.
