Scotiabank has recently undertaken a Balanced Scorecard initiative, cascading overall corporate
objectives down to executives' and directors' performance goals. As they begin the process of
extending this program to all levels of the organization, Cynthia Prelle (SCOTIABANK Strategic
Human Resources) asked to talk with other members about the challenges associated with
