Managing IT Vendor Relationships

Managing outside vendors is a growing challenge for IT executives. Payments to vendors consume a large portion of IT budgets, and managing outside relationships occupies significant management mind share. Package software proliferation drives up the number of vendors and outsourcing deals often require complex service level agreements. In addition, changes in employment law create new risks for both project-based and staff augmentation contractors.
