Cybersecurity is evolving rapidly, yet the basic structure of public sector programs has remained largely unchanged for more than 25 years. Emerging data science technologies—NLP, ML, DL, GenAI, and autonomous AI agents—create opportunities to transform cybersecurity operations with dramatic gains in efficiency and effectiveness.

This session presents a near-term, achievable future state model for cybersecurity programs. It explores how to integrate AI-enabled tools within strong governance frameworks (NIST NICE, CSF, ISO 27001) to support mission objectives in a cost-effective and sustainable way. Participants will leave with a practical organizational model to guide their own modernization efforts.
